u can find custom brackets, ive seen them. get the supercharger kit for the 5th gen prelude....fuel upgrades, good fuel management, good tuning.....

+1 supercharge it to spool up the turbo faster!!!!!! or do nitrous(50 shot) to spool it up in the low rpms, then the turbo will kick in faster(this is the cheaper of the two)

but ill be honest...if you want a 350+ horsepower car, and u want to daily drive it....a prelude isnt the way to go.

I'm curious as to why you people think that a turbo that doesnt fully spool until 4000 rpm is a quick spooling turbo. Thats a shitload of lag.

I had a ahem "small" turbo with an open downpipe, and didn't hit full boost until 3200... but then again, that was 21psi, and I was at 5-6 psi by 2200ish IIRC. It all depends on what 'full boost' is. If you aren't hitting 5psi until 4k, that's insane lag. Yes.
