if you want to do something unique try to get a 6 cylinder motor out of the Tribeca into an Impreza/legacy and boost that bitch.

Yeah, the SUVs.. they're a boxer 6, should be good for some turbo power. I think they look great, and would be a (heavy) fast car with some power upgrades. I'd rock it if I had the money, my girlfriend was thinking about buying one but she wanted a manual tranny. So she bought a 2.5i wagon instead. That's my girl. Too bad the Forresters look like crap, those can get fast too.

I wonder if a 6 cyl would actually fit in an Impreza...? I wonder how much the size difference is..?
Because don't think I haven't thought about that before.. I've considered (before I went back to school) buying an 02-03 2.5RS (or whatever they were called back then) and doing sometihng like that, I think the mounts wouldn't be that bad, but I'm guessing that the oil pan is a bit deeper than an EJ20/5. I'd love to dimension the 6 cyl and check out the other logistics. I guess a whole STi drivetrain would have to be swapped in just because of the power.
There are a million Subys here to choose from, one of out of 5 imports is a Suby I think.

i saw an article about a concept ST-i forester that i think actually might make it into production overseas. It actually looked pretty good, and had plenty of performance potential.

get an old 2 door 2.5RS and attempt to put a turbo-charged 6 cylinder from the Tribeca in it. Make it black with the JDM st-i wheels and i would worship you wayne.

 

There already is an STi Forrester. It was just in EVO the other month in the car of the year contest.
It's 2.5L 330HP/330lbft. Still looks wierd though.

I had a svx..... i loved it. Yea its a heavy...and the car is notorius for wheel bearing problems.....but 230 hp stock isnt bad. I got so many people come up to me and ask me about the car because they are pretty rare in the 757.
