GOLD was the new black in 1998 when I first rocked them the color time line goes like this. 1980-1990 Chrome/Silver 1992 White 1993-1995 Black/Gunmetal 1996-2003 Gold/bronze 2004+ Red/Green/Blue we are currently in the red phase and moving towards the green.....then the loop will start over again

I have always loved polished alum. Tried the dark wheels, didn't like them, tried bronze, liked them alittle. Hate white.

I still like black, but I went with Gunmetal w/ a polished lip on my black teg. I think it looks alot better.

Seriously I have been rocking gold before it became a fad. But it definetly has deep roots in WRC and rally...they have rocked that for some time.

Is it a new fad? Perhaps so.

Black I dont think will ever be a fad its classic. But things liek bronze, gold and gunmetal are fads.

Just that bronze and gunmetal are played out now and look very dated..unless they are bronze te-37's

But I will be rockin that shit for a while.....gold is so fresh and clean

Long live GWM?
No offense, but I remember quite a few black wheels around Central back in 2003. And people around here are not exactly ahead of the curve either.

Amen. I had gold advans on my MR2 back in 01. Before that, I had black spray painted konigs for almost 3 years......and I got the idea from some dude in Cali who has been doing it forever. Nobody here started this shit.
