330ci are nice, im a big fan of the STi over the EVO, mostly because of its all-around performance feel. and for wat ur ganna pay for one of those, i would go with a C5. they are fun to drive and u can customize it like no other. im not a big fan of porsche, they perform alrite but they are way ot overrated and parts r expensive.

Is there a large aftermarcket for 330ci's? forgive my ignorance, but i never thought I could own a Bimmer. (really classy cars). how are they performance wise? I really like a sporty feel to my cars. (theyve all been 2 door coupe's with TINY back seats noone sits in anyways. A bimmer sounds.... uhhh? rotund? heavy? dunno. look like an elegant car more than a sportser. (i know, i know, M3, M5 lol)

Some people just don't like/want what BMW brings to a car. Go drive one, but at least make sure it's a 5-speed.

Performace wise, the 3.0 is what you want if you can't pony up for the M3. The E46s are the best looking lineup of cars that they, in my opinion, have ever came out with. Put coil-overs and a nice wheel/tire package and you'll be happy for a while. If you wanna go faster, a bunch of countries make supercharger kits and Active Autowers is coming out with a turbo for it very very soon. But the cool thing is that ~95% of the things that are available for M3s are also available for the 330ci.

Plus bitches will be impressed:

a corvette would be alot cheaper than you think. i got an insurance quote several months ago because i was considering buying one, it was actually quite cheaper than my srt4. also if you love corners the srt is going to handle by far the worst out of any of those cars listed. if you were unimpressed with an sti, dont waste your time looking at an rx-8
