Yeah. And they're a #3 Phillipshead screwdriver to get them out. You're going to need a little bit of force to get them out if you never have taken them out before.
Yeah, once you have the screwdriver in place, you might need to tap it a few times with a hammer to loosen it up a bit.
Dont hit the rotor with a hammer. On the bottom of the rotor shaft there is a small seal if you hit the shaft enough you will break that seal and it will cause oil to leak into your ditrib.
I think their talkin bout a Brake rotor
oh yeah jason..get anything on that Nitrous kit for meh?
dont see any screws on the face of the rotor. once again my car is a 1995 honda accord i am changing my front rotor.
this is correct... those screws they are talking about are on integras, civics, and crxs.. not on accords.. I just replaced the wheel bearing for a 95 accord yesterday and was surprised it wasn't like my crx and integra. For us to get the disc off, we had to remove the entire hub assembly. (Remove caliper, disconnect from 3 arms, disconnect axle). Once removed, you can get to the 4 bolts on the back of the hub assembly. There are also 4 bolts on the front of the rotor just hold the rotor to the bearing assembly. These will have to be removed also. You then can press out the bearing assembly w/ a rubber mallot from the back of the removed hub. From there, you can remove the rotor from the bearing assembly. To "press" it back in, you can just use the 4 bolts that you removed from the back of the assembly to "press" it back in. After doing this, I realized how much it must suck to just change the brake rotor. Good luck!
