That is true but I wasn't specific in my last post. I had the same problem with my First CRX that the fan was hooked up through a switch and I'd always leave it on. But it did keep the temp pretty cool

the fan in my crx stays on all the time from when you turn the key on to when you turn it off.

I wish mine did, Since I have no idea whats wrong with my guage cluster I dont know what temp My motor is running at or how much fuel i have in the tank, It always appears to be cold and Bangin Past F on the fuel gauge

true, as I told Ryan and still had to bleed it 4 times after I left the shop , anyways, is the jump into the 200's sudden? If the temp is fluctuating quickly and to extreme temps its an air pocket(and yes they are a bich to get out). Where do you have your temp sensor run to?

Its in the upper radiator hose, and its a gradual climb to this temperature

is that the normal place for the temp sensor? shouldn't it be in the head somewhere?

kick it a couple times, call it some names, then cry. should run fine after that, at least mine did.

He said the clutch is fucked, and since it's got some apparent problem, maybe the spring isn't expanding and therefore is not delivering enough power to cool the engine. Fan clutches are generally cheap, I got mine for my 5.0 for around $30.
