I agree the early 80's Volvo's are a special car. However, blue book value on them is fairly low. If the car has been sitting ( hoses rot on fords and volvos alike) you'll want to know how long and try to see if he can get it started for you. I know my 87 245 (though non turbo) is in pretty darn good condition and blue books at only like 1200. So I hope that helps.
