i would recommend the pioneer avic-n2 ...its a nav. unit, touchscreen , car stats, everything u could possibly want...dvd and all...and get it from www.sonicelectronix.com ....its the cheapest you will find it.... thats where i get my car audio, excellent source

alpine single din flip out is GREAT sq.... but you need a seperate box for the nav

AVIC n2 is great and comes with the nav built in and does just about anything y ou could ask

AVIC D1 is a double din version of the above listed and is slick as hell, but doesn't play DVD's

(all best buy stock)

i personally am a fan of the D1, i dont ever have the time to watch videos in the car as it is

I think an aftermarket radio in a Tacoma is gonna look horrible. The way the new ones are designed, I just don't see an aftermarket unit lookin decent in there. Do you have pictures of aftermarket units in a new Tacoma?
