The Hondata system won't affect the codes at all, it's all inside the ECU. You can jumper out the wires and you're set. It doesn't sound like it's the ECU based on what you found out with the unchipped P30, so it's obviously something else. I'm not sure what he means by "too much voltage", the only way you can get too much voltage is if your charging system is faulty. The injectors get power form the battery and the ECU switches the low side of the injector coil to ground. SO the injectors should be at whatever the charging system voltage is when the car was running, and that's easy to check.
