Since you mention flats and what not. Any of you think it wise to buy a spare rim and tire just to have around that way you can always fix a flat yourself by just switchin out wheel/tires? I found a stock wheel for my bike on ebay selling for 50 bucks, seems like it would be worth picking up just to have another tire on.

 

damn, $50 for a 04 r1 rim? id say if its not bent or anything like that, pick that up. i dont know what they go for, but i know sv rims are going for a couple hundred bucks, and they are nothing special..

 

Yeah, i know right!? It's on ebay and the guy said he is parting out his ENTIRE R1, that's the only reason it seems like a legit auction. I think i might just do it.
