Yeah, so....i went down today.
Damn man, that really bites. Did you get the R1 i was telling you about at colonial? I know the feeling i went down on my ZX7R in a left turn and if it wont for the nitro jacket and helmet, my silvertabs held up suprisingly well(not a rip or tear) but suffered road rash under my jeans, and on my wrist and side. It sucks but you got to get back on and ride, it makes me more of an aware rider, just because now i know "IT CAN HAPPEN TO ME". I hear people say all the time, "ive been riding to long for it to happen to me". Well keep the rash clean and get the bike back straight and be safe riding. BTW: hurry up its not getting any colder, Nice weather= awesome riding.
always wear your gear. i've got 8 titanium plates and 34 screws holding my head together... nuff said.
glad to hear you're (for the most part) ok. there are two types of riders out there, those who HAVE gone down, and those who WILL go down. it comes with the territory.
all in all though, sounds like you came out on what could've been a bad (worse) situation. good on ya.

its kinda weird, my friend went down on his bike doing almost the same thing tonight about 7pm-ish. too much gas in a turn coming from a stop, the rear slid around, he almost saved it, and bam, high sided off the thing. broke his collar bone, and big toe on his right foot. the bike didnt do to well either. brand new gsxr 600, hasnt had it for about 2 weeks, and about 900 miles..
live and learn i guess...

Dude, i'm suprised that i felt as well as i did yesterday. Today i feel like shit. I have bumps and bruises all over me that i didnt know were there before. Adrenaline must be a mother fucker, i mean, seriously. My fucking back is hurting, two of my fingers hurt, my wrist hurts, my right ankle is FUCKED up, my right ass cheek is FUCKED up, my left shin has a lump on it, and my right knee is banged up too. I only hurt in two spots yesterday! I think im gonna head back to the ER today and have them look at this ankle, it feels like it wants to pop, but i can get it to without causing myself a lot of pain. I can either pop these pills and pop it myself, or i can just take it to them and see what the say. Over the weekend i'm gonna see what i need to do about the bike.
damn bro,get checked out.i would advise againts poping the ankle yourself.once you get better and you want to get the bike checked out lemme know.i have lots of experiance fixing up busted and scraped fairings.
get better, wish you a quick recovery...

I knew things were too good to be true when i went my first season without incident. I'm just happy to say that this wasnt a bad enough experience to keep my out of the game. Even after all the pain and damage to the bike, i can honestly say, the experience was kinda.......fun......i know that sounds odd, but i mean, i was draggin with my fucking bike down the road, and was completely conscious for the whole thing.
