Uhm.... correct me if I'm wrong, but I could've swore that the black top fit in the 88-91 Civic/CRX, and the brown top fits in the 84-87....

Yeah, pretty sure you don't wanna use it... It's all coming back to me now!! Mounts are different, and the wiring is also different. Black top has an electric advance distributor, and brown top has a vacuum advance....
