Does that motor have a knock sensor? Correct me if I'm wrong, but when we did a b16 swap my buddy accidently connected the knock sensor plug (under the intake manifold to the eacv, and the eacv to the knock sensor? The plugs are the same, but wire colors are different. Don't know if that appliaes to your motor or not, but worth checking out I guess.

No it doesn't i dont think........hes gotta prob now where his timing belt wants to slip off..

Your correct, it doesn't have a knock sensor.

MAke sure you are properly tensioning the timing belt. Get an book on your car and follow step by step.
