You can read every article in the world and some will prefer Hondas over the Gixxer....some won't. The bikes are so evenly matched that the RIDER is the DECIDING factor in performance. After alot of research.......I picked the 600RR. I have zero regrets and I think (IMO) the Hondas are the most reliable. The other bikes are very close. If I was going to buy a bike today (my 600RR is an 04).......I would prob' get the new R6.

 

I agree with DoingOK. The 600's are so close. I made my choice based on how I fit the bike. The 600RR's are sexy, but I just didn't like the feel of the seat and riding position. The gixxer was more comfortable to me so I went with that when I got my 600.

sounds like your new to biking, if so, i say get which ever one you want to get or which one you can get a good deal on. the performance on the bikes are very similar, unless if your racing, you wont know the difference.

other considerations to take a look at is the reliability of the bike. honda has always had a good track record. and suzuki's are very reliable.

 

Umm try sitting and riding on each one to get a better idea for comfort and such

 

get whatever fits you better.

i ride all sorts of bikes all day long. i like most of them, some just suit me and my riding style more than others.

personally, i like the 600rr over the gixxer. not that there's anything wrong with the suzuki, i just feel more comfortable on the honda.

more comfortable= easier to go fast on

it's all down to personal preference.

hell, i ride a 400cc dirtbike with 17" rims and street radials, and a cbr600 with dirt bike bars and no fairings, so my tastes are a lil odd anyway...lol

 

well I have a gxsr-1000 06. I just rode my buddies 05 rr and I love the handles. but no power. the 03 he has is much more power. but the 03 handled worse. well if you want to hit the twisties get the rr ride down the interstate get the gsxr. so you can keep up with the bigboys

And since it impossible to get a gsx(I saw for today get bought as soon as they rolled them out) I will be getting the Honda.
Hopefully insurance does not jail rape me

ummmmm thats because hondas SUCK...but then again im also a lil biased
