^ yeah, which I thought was funny.

People equate vtec as performance, when its actually something that's ment to blend performance and economy.

yeah bro the vtec killer cams use a one lobe design and are meant for race only applications...unless your motor is built for some serious power then you are just doing damage using them on top of killing you gas mileage...i would ditch them and go back to stock before your motor goes on you

You won't damage anything, thats wrong. They're just a simpler cam setup.
They're ground for high RPM power though and make more power than stock up there, but you'll lose a good bit of low and mid range power and torque. I wouldn't get rid of them unless you want more power down low. If you like them, keep them. If you want a broader powerband, trade heads with someone and make some $$. There is nothing wrong with them, you'll just get more power across the board with the stock VTEC setup.

First off, that car does not have VTEC killer cams in it. When the guy in TTE owned it it may have had them, but you bought it from Beau and the motor was stock when he bought it and I don't believe he didn't anything to it except keep up on the maintenance as it was his DD as well.

hahahahaha, vtec killer cams. If you want to know what Vtec killer cams are go to Toda's website and it will tell you there, but basically its when you install the cam kit you get rid of the vtec followers, there is not vtec lobe just primaries. Most likely you would need something like a powerFC to tune them. Your gas milage will suck very bad. Its a waste of time on a daily grinder. To get the potential out of the cams you wil need a built motor and rev hella high to get all the power from the cams.
