Thanks for the replies.. I decided to go with 35%.. I'll get my chances like everyone else in here if the cops hassles me.. It would be nice to go darker but I'm happy with 35%..

 

i had 35% all the way around, never had a proublem with it. i usually had my front 2 windows down so they couldnt tell if it was 50% or not.

 

FYI...the cops can pull you over for a moving violation, then they just add that shit on

 

i have 20% all around on my prelude and i got pulled for reckless driving and he checked my tint. but when he checked it, it read 4%. he said i had limo tint. yea ok. but i contested it in court and the judge dismissed it even though 20% is illegal anyways.

 

That's what I had in the Supra. Got three tickets for it in a year. I don't recommend it, though.

 

I have 20% all the way around. I only really got hasseled from it once. I wasn't paying attention tothe time and got caught like 10 minutes after the HOV times started. The cop pulled up on the drivers side... pulled behind me... pulled up on the passenger side... then pulled me over. haha. He said the tint made it too hard to see if there was more than one person in the car. That's why he'd pulled me. No ticket though. Just a warning and a "change the tint on the front windows. Have a nice day." Haha.

 

you can go to 20% all around the cops in va beach dont really give a lot of tickets on tint.

 

damn SpldPerformance the cop had to do all that to notice your tint was dark. thats crazy

I've had 35% metalic tint all around on my maxima for probably over 5 years now and never had an issue with the police anywhere
