If I do come back this weekend or next, is there anyone willing to show me how to lower my suspension. It really does sit too high in the back, which is fucking up the true handling I know this bike has.
usually a jacked up rear is a good thing for handling, and with out lowering links i doubt you'd be able to lower it enough to even notice, i dont know about the R1 but usually the ride height adjustment is just good for a few millimeters, not inches
those pipes look so good with the stubby tips, looking awesome but yea definetly do something with that fender, and i'd check out a targa seat cowl for it too if you haven't already

I mean, i figured it couldnt go down too much, but i mean, just look at the space between my fender and tail.......that's a lot of space IMO. When I installed the pipes, they said be sure the clamps are put on in such a way as to not touch the fender, but even with me sitting on the bike those clamps dont even come close to the fender. I just figure it should come down a little bit. How do i adjust the front end for better handling?
And i'm workin on the fender eliminator. Oh yeah, another thing--this Honda shop is the only local shop in the area that dyno tunes, but they said they can't dyno tune mine unless it has a power commander. I thought you said something about not needing a power commander with the newer bikes and that you can do it directly?
thats just the suzuki's... do you really need to get it tuned with slip ons? or have you done more?
as for the front end, you can lower the front a few mm for quicker turn in, but then you sacrifice stability and it becomes a bit more twitchy, which i've heard the yamahas already kind of are so i probably wouldn't mess with it if it was me
