So did they squash that toll plan they plan on implimenting around here or is this just to hold them over until they get that up and operational?

 

it must suck being a thief. You would have to watch your back all the time. Knowing that the owner of that car you just stole is looking to peal your filthy fuckin cap. I feel your pain man about your car:-( these people will get whats coming to them.

 

That I don't know, but I don't see a problem with police enforcing laws.

I guarantee you'd pay the value of several tickets just in tolls if Virginia set up as many tolls/mile as New Jersey.

 

well, that's fine. And tolls and gas can be wrote off as tax deductions for work. A ticket can not be.

I see a problem w/ police officers choosing to enforce the laws they can get to easily and not care so much about the ones they actually have to work to enforce. I'm glad to get some quick closure to this. I'm not gonna try to get what's left of the car back. I am going to call the Jersey PD and see if I can get some pic's though. I talked to a few guys, one from Jersey, and we figure what the thieves do is, take the car, swap jersey plates on it, get it to Jersey and strip it. Then they put junk tires on it and tow it a few miles away and leave it on the side of the road. They put the original plates back on it so it will easily be picked out and the owner can stop looking for it, and the thieves. The cops can't really do much... except for look for suspicious tow trucks dumping car shells on the side of the road. But who would notice that.

 

sorry to hear about your car especially the fact it's about jersey...my homeboy's 99gsr got stolen after 3 months buying it.....they stole the shii straight out of his work area with cameras around....and still didn't get the guys that stole it....i think they said it took them like 50something seconds to get in the car start it and leave. taking off two brake clubs and steering wheel club......i'm hoping my 01gsr won't ever get stolen. i would be PISSED. good luck on insurance and everything.
