Bought my first bike
cool thanks for the advice.. I don't really plan on riding anyone yet...
too be honest I have no clue how the hell they would even get on...LOL
but yeah.. i guess the thing i want to get is be able to turn correctly...Yeah I think the whole lean thing is killing me.. I would always ease off the throttle... but I need to learn to lean more and add a little more throttle..
I heard right hand turns were harder than left hand turns.. is this true? and if so why?
Here's a pic of the bike that i bought btw...

because most people are right handed. it's the same with alot of things. i know alot of stunt riders that can only ride circle wheelies one way.
i suppose a left handed person would be more inclined to the opposite way.
Damn you bike almost looks like mine!
On another note, I REALLY need to brush up on my riding skillz. I stalled out 15 straight times! Not to mention it was hot as hell, of course riding was cake but starting and stopping... pwned

thats weird, im right handed and have no problems turning right... you just cant be scared to take a right turn and actually lean, i was once and i forced myself to do it so i could get a feel for it.. but wow my bike is fast and feels great speeding up, i just have to get used to the gas in first gear, its choppy sometimes i guess im not smooth yet with my hand.. i really want to go practice U-Turns but i dont have plates so i cant ride the block up to the parking lot to practice.. haha
I have been praticing in an empty lot off of thimble shoals. It is pretty decent, about the same size as the practice lots for MSF class. I just wish it where twice its size so i can get on it a little more. This weekend if it does not rain, i am going to practice in a bigger lot over here since all the companies will be off for the weekend
Yeah I definately need to practice more... but man it felt great riding the bike... I stalled more than I would like, so that's what i'm going to practice for awhile. I don't want to go out on the open road until I know that I won't stall that much. Man when I went from 0 - 40 for the first time i thought I was flying. LOL... and when i did a slight lean going that fast it felt like I was floating! It's exciting.... also about the turns.. it does make a huge difference if you just move your head and look where you're going. I wish some of you new guys were at the beach... so we could all ride slow together! Also, I need to hurry up and stop stalling.. cause I gotta ride that shit to the gas station! lol
I learned a lot from this book, it is well worth the money. It goes over a lot of stuff about riding sport bikes and fundementals.
