i called around for a tps and found it only at the dealer ...dealer told me that its apart of the throtle body and will cost me 600 bucks. for the whole unit. .......anyway around that ?
depending on which coolant sensor it is it will make ure car run like ass and it will not let vtec hit!because it cant read how hot ure motor is so it goes into safe mode.I know because ive had the same prob. And also u can use a tps from any b or d series motor so go to the junk yard and get a throttle body because u r going to have to drill the sensor off of the throttle body and get new bolts for it.Well let me know how it comes out!
Go to the junk yard and pick up an old throttle body then grind the tps off of it and your old one then screw it in. You might have to go through a couple to get it right.
