You know some have done Longtubes without even dropping the K members on our cars. We dropped mine that was for sure.

Drove it for a whopping 4 miles so far back from my friend's shop to my trailer sitting out front in Maryland. Passed 4 cops who definitely took notice. Will be heading back to Richmond in a few minutes and then heading over to Performance Autosport.

Fuel map is definitely off. Thing is too damn loud to figure out whatever else needs adjusting.

If you (or a buddy) have access to a lift, dropping the K-member is the best way to install headers on these cars. New shop manager apparently is freaked out by a recent incident and now will no longer allow non-employees around the bays. I've got a few of my own home improvement projects to finish before putting a lift in my brother's place.

The exhaust fits very well, even around my Lakewood scattershield bellhousing, which had to be notched on one side -- no big concern. From the headers to the muffler is a custom job with no crossover due to the placement of the Tremec TKO and Maximum Motorsports torque arm. 3" in/out cats are dead due to running ro rich (burnt up insides) so there is no restriction. Mufflers are Borla XR-1, which I highly recommend, and the muffler-back is completely stock.

List of mods is in the signature link. I like the stock look. Personal preference.

Did you notice any seat of the pants difference with the Bassani's vs. the SHM?
After 4 miles, not yet. The fit/finish of the Bassani's is really top-notch. Always had problems with the slip-fit SHMs as they leaked at the collectors like a mofo.

Thats the main reason I want to steer away from a true LT, don't want to have to ever worry about it. I looked at the BBK's, but not being able to drop the tranny without taking a header loose sucks.

I checked out your car, extremely nice.

Thanks for the compliment. Haven't driven it since last October. Heading over to see Kevin (and hopefully Mark and Jerry, too) at Performance Autosport now.

Eric was able to scoot me into the schedule.

Thanks again to Jerry, Kevin, and Mark! Car runs great and the air/fuel is a perfect flat line.

Kevin, after this dynotune, you may be right.

Told ya. Now check the NASA schedule and sign up for a HPDE.

Glad we could fit you in.

btw, Eric's T-bird made 454rwhp and destroyed a belt in a very exciting, yet destructive WOT pull to redline.
