The lasw states that your license plate has to be clearly dislpayed on the front of the vehicle. Dosent state that it has to be on the bumper.\

I got a ticket for my license plate in the windshield once also. But I put on the bumper and the cop dropped it in court.

Virginia sucks for laws since it allows manipulation by the police. Or should I just say Officer Discretion as they put it.

If you didnt have it on you, then thats just petty... along with the front liscense plate. But you should be driving with your seatbelt on.... Its stupid not too... especially since it takes all of 2.5 seconds of your life to put it on.

Wow, I thought you where aloud to have no front plate in VA. I live in Northern VA 15 min from DC, and I NEVER have front plates on. The reason is that my dads a car dealer and he has two diffrent dealer tags, but only one of each, so I can't have a front tag untill I buy my own car (will have it hopefully in the next month or so) and get my own licence plate. I have been driving with one tag for around 5 months now and have never been pulled over or gotten a ticket for not having the front plate. I even got pulled over for somthing else and while the cop was giving me a ticket, he didn'y say anything about me only having one tag. I guess I've just been lucky?

 

I have a license, I just didn't have it on me... and I was driving to school... how many times have you guys gotten in accidents driving a half mile down the street... So if I get the plate ticket called out, can I get the other two called out for not having any real probable cause to pull me over??

I live off of lynnhaven pkwy...when i wrecked my probe..it was not even 2 miles down the road from where i lived. the shits real homes.

 

NO. the originally reason of the officer pulling you over is for the tag and then he found other violations that you were committing, not getting outta shit except maybe the front tag 1 if you bring a pic in and the judge is nice.
You sound like you are a little on the slow side or is english a second language for you?
