what transmission to use
any research would be deaply appriciated. i just bought a f22b tranny but i would like to know if it would be a better to use a different tranny before i put it in the car cus swaping the tranny is a bitch in this car
In the issue of SCC Nov. 03 volume 15 no. 11: it talks about a h22 swap into a 5th gen accord...page 128-129
"...As another option, the Accord manual transmission will bolt up and has the same internals, apart from slightly taller gearing. Taller gears may be good if you plan on force indution."
Though I may not be explaining my points very well but I consider SCC a pretty good source of information....Take it or leave it.

the only time i've seen short gearing be a problem was on an LS/T with a b16 tranny. that was DEFINITELY geared too tightly. Unless you are running a type R/b16 tranny on a LS or b20, you should be a-ok. suspension work will make more of a diff than which tranny he uses, along with rim/tire selection.
i was going to get the h-2-b kit but i just got a new flywheel and clutch so i woudl rather not spend money on all this other stuff to do that conversion also when i get back from boot camp i am going to be building my motor for higher boost so i think i am going to stick with the accord tranny
