my friend just bought an Audi...anything he should look out for?

 

everything !! I had a 98 A4 2.8 i thought it was a lemon it was in the shop so much. So i traded it in on a S4 even worse crack turbo mani 20k miles + mass problems every week.

 

I think his is an 99 S4...not sure. He got it salvaged and is trying to fix it up.

S4 is a sexy car but the ones with the bi-turbos had a lot of problems. the newer V8 S4s are definately better even though all audi's have electrical problems.

 

yup, electrical problems gaLORE! lol, well werent all the b5 S4s bi-turbo? and the new b6 ones have only been around for what, like a year or sumthin now? Ya my friends s4 has a lot of standard maintenance issues, and same with my car, but then again it is 10yrs old with 105k miles on it now, the main thing i can't stand is when i need to get it fixed, but i have no money for anything that really sucks, lol

 

I told him about the electrical problems before he bought it...he didn't seem to believe me..

oh well...hope he has fun lol
