There is different quality of nitrous. Ok With nothing changing on my car ran at the track 2 fridays ina row. First friday had a bottle of performance unlimited's nitrous. CAr ran good hooked up nice and everything. Next friday, using va Speed nitrous, was lossing traction when spraying, ran the same times as prious weekend, but trap speed went up a couple mph.

 

What was the Temperature on the two days John. Maybe it was a little more warmer the day with the VA Speed Nitrous.

 

There is no such thing as different qualities of nitrous. 2 parts Nitrogen, 1 part Oxygen are basic earth elements. Also you ran a faster trap speed the second time because you were SPINNING. The weather conditions, track prep, and bottle pressure prob are the only reasons for any differences in the runs.

 

Even the really small amounts of other chemicals (sulphur, etc) that are added to denature nitrous have no effect on the quality, differences are all in your head.

 

if i do recall steen racing is 3.50 or 3.75 a lbs.

 

also buy 9 fills the 10th is on them

 

You might had a unfull bottle from perfomance unlimited.. I use to get my nitrous there and 1 out of 4 bottles didnt seem to hit as good as the last.. They were probably low on there bottle and you got the last of it..

 

Nitrous also goes stail if it is old. Which would cause a bad bottle also.

 

I belive the shop is on the way downtown. And I think it has Silverish window tint color that you can only see through if your in the inside, And it has a big NOS sticker on the window. Is this the place you are talking about? im just wondering
