umm question. Do u need to do it in a garage, or a shop.. cuz i mean ..is it legal to sand it on ur driveway... cuz everythin in virginia that has to do with a car seems to be illegal.

 

i did my car right in my driveway and painted it in my garage the same night.... noone cared, didnt have cops at my door telling me to stop....

 

thanks, i was just wonderin cuz im gonna take it to a paint shop, i just dont wanna spend like 1,500 for a paintjob. i want to spend like 400-500 and im told that's just primer, paint and gloss. So if i wanna sand it first thy charge like 70$/hour and it takes like 4-6 hours. Meh. thanks for the reply tho

 

a $400-500 job is gonna look like shit unless its a friend and using only average materials. 1500 for a nice paintjob is still even cheap unless again you have a hookup.
