Bring it to a Honda dealer.......your seatbelts should have a lifetime warranty on them, as many other cars do.....If there is a Lifetime Warranty on them, they will put a new seatbelt, and possibly the whole mechanism that goes with it for FREE!! everyone likes the word FREE!!

Actually harnesses in street cars are usually a bad idea.
Most people mount them to bolts in the floor behind the seats, which puts too much of an angle on the harness.
End result? Get into an accident and the harness compresses your spine, which is bad news.

There was an article in Sport Compact Car (i think) on this recently...
also you shouldnt have a rollcage in a street car, because you just crack your head open on it in an accident

Sure. Gp ahead and get a cage so you'll have a safe place to mount them. Then of course you'll need to wear a helmet to keep your head safe from the cage.

This is why harnesses on street cars are rarely done correctly and are generally a bad idea.

I doubt he will get a cage, but any street car with a cage should have padding. oh hell yeah it's going to hurt still, but unsafer then having a cage.. i'll need harder proof then some one on dragva to tell me different.
For the most part harnesses if strapped in correctly suck ,cuz you can't lean forward. remember that drive thru you just went to oh, shit it's going to suck glove box oh hell no. pimp lean ha forget a radio, signals, wipers, etc...
check out http://www.schrothracing.com/products/streetlegal/2295
