So did the shop tell you what the problem is?? Im curious to know!!

 

You can try anything you want..but until you change the ignition switch its not going to start...BAD ignition switch..might as well change the electrical part and key part.....................your welcome

 

So...here is the update, as sad as it is.
As for it not starting. Took it to Custom Car Care and the guys up there got into it. They looked around and found out that the timing belt had skipped a tooth. That was weird to me bcause everything was turning still on top and not sputtering. I am just glad this did not happen on a highway, my engine would have been all kinds of F'd up.
Anyhow I decided to just go ahead and rebuild the top end since they said the valves were allittle bent. Looks like I will be keeping this car for awhile. Gonna say the hell with the turbo kit though, if anyone wants it, pm me. I have a laundry list of a turbo kit. I wil put it up soon when I get around to it.

I've had that happen to me exactly. Piece of debris got between the belt and the gear and made it skip a tooth or 3...very annoying problem because seeing the belt on makes you think it's all fine.
