What? So whats "fast"? 320hp low 13's 1/4's sub 5sec 0-60 and this was in 1993 and in STOCK trim. I guess you could make an argument that now in 2006 that the numbers are kind of lame for the price but a stock Supra is still pretty fast hell I would take one now. I guess to each his own

Low 13's is cool for a stock Supra and all, but for the price a mint Supra sells for these days (in stock condition, or making 1000hp..) I, personally, would rather do something else. Perhaps it's not wanting to follow the rest of the herd of sheep.. I don't know.
They're incredible cars, but I just can't see myself dumping that kind of money into one to be the coolest kid on the block.
We can argue about the potential all day long, but the foundation of what I'm trying to say is that there are other cars I'd rather spend that kind of loot on. There are several that might actually lose in a stock for stock race against a stock turbo Supra. I don't care.
I'm done with the GTI though. I'll have an Avalanche in a few weeks more than likely.

It doesn't have the ugly plastic shit on it.
I'm looking at the Avalanche, an Escalade EXT, and a few other trucks and SUV's.. I want something I can have serviced at a fucking dealership (here's a BIG FUCK YOU, First Team Auto Mall. See you guys in court soon!) that will stand behind their product, and by a manufacturer who stands behind their loyal customers. I've owned 9 (NINE) VW's, and VW told me there was nothing they could do to help me with my battle against a VW dealership doing me wrong? Even if it meant losing me as a customer?
Anyway. looking primarily for a truck or an SUV.. either of them being able to comfortably carry 3-4 passengers for a last minute decision to just pack our shit up and head to the beach, bikes included.
