if the fuel pump turns on its a good indication that the ecu is ok. Good luck with that mess! i did that one to an oldass vw bus. resulted in the charge wire from the generator catching on fire. replaced that and it was fine.... not that the electronics inthe vw were anything like your 240 but yea....

check your plugs to see if you are gettting any spark. i did that same since once when i had a alarm on my explorer and it pop that fuse in my alarm and that cause my truck not to start it took my a week or so to find that probelm cause it had a kill start on it .if you have a alarm check that as well.

it's the main fuse had to replace one in a 240 i bought a couple of months back, only nissan carried it though it was some between 12-18 bucks.
