Damn cagers

 

i think i saw that same knucklehead on that same day,all i could think is nice t shirt and shorts.very safe buddy.i also agree about 264 speed bumps and rush hour making this extra stupid/dangerous..

 

Still can't believe the day I was riding down 264 and was passed by a black suv with the hatch open, a cameraman sitting on the back with no sort of restraint and about 6 or 7 bikes riding behind it doing wheelies and shit all at about 20-30 mph over the speedlimit.

 

ere is the problem to start out! You guys that have never had bikes and in my opinion that write stuff like you do should never own bikes!!!!!But anyway i am a 20 year rider myself and currently own a 02 hayabusa...when you guys say that we could not be IN CONTROL when we do wheelies well you could not be any more wrong...if we were not IN CONTROL then we would be on the ground wondering what just happened....i am not here to bash cars or other bikers but there is blame to be put onto both...You cannot tell me that all of you cagers that have not rode bikes have never had a little fun spinning your tires doing dougnuts,burnouts etc..any idiot including myself can do that in a vehicle skill or no skill and pull off something impressive not much skill there...but to do that on a bike...yes that is skill...but there are some bikers that are reckless and do not worry about where they attempt these stunts and yes they do put other people at risk when they do them...But here is the funny thing and all of you fellow bikers can relate to this...why is it that the cagers hate us doing shit on our bikes so much that when we get next to them or they are on the side of the road all we hear and see is stand it up with both of their arms in the air doing the handlebar shuffle or reving their motors up or trying to get us to race their cages.....so the last thing i have to say to the cagers stay the f**k off of our ass stop pulling out in front of us,look before you merge into another lane safely as you do while on the phone,putting makeup on,reading<------love that one,or just to f**king stupid enough to look over your shoulder to make sure no one is in that lane...You cagers have to realize 3000lb car vs 400lb bike you do the math...

I would love for them to do another article with pictures of dozens of Harley's in front of bars with their owners inside drinking. Happens a lot on this side of the water and I've run into several who reeked of alcohol while out riding up in Yorktown/Williamsburg/Jamestown. Not just the Harley's I mentioned but all drunk drivers.......in 2004 there were 57 MC fatalities but at the same time there were 361 alcohol related fatalities and 7,819 alcohol related injuries. While I've seen my share of wheelies out on 264/64 it doesn't bother me too much except when people pull up some garbage ones right next to me.


Either way we don't have anything on the Southern Maryland riders (from another forum that I posted up about)

I was headed up to Maryland for work training and to see a buddy and soon as I hit the Maryland line it was like all hell broke loose. I saw at least 50 sportbikes and you guys all were riding crazy stupid. Heading north I was passed by 4 people doing 120 or over.....with no gear.....with passengers.....with passengers with no gear. 2 of you guys came within inches of clipping a car and 1 of those almost go put in the guard rail because you moved over 2 lanes at 100mph+ and the car of course couldn't see you. Not just speeding but weaving through moderate traffic doing that.....crazy. I ride and kept going "oh shit" because I thought people were going to wreck in front of me


Then there was a group of 6 guys who kept slowing everyone else down so that they could take turns doing 60-100mph wheelies for the chase camera car and just to be cool. One of the leaders of the crew almost rear ended me in my rental when he set down a crooked wheelie and couldn't get on the brakes right away. Most of the time I don't care if someone pulls up a wheelie when they have an opening or something but making an opening and damn near causing wrecks because your boys are spread across 3 lanes of traffic and brake down to 45mph isn't cool

You southbound people were nuts!!! Saw cops chasing people twice who looked to be running because they were doing 120-140mph and kept looking over their shoulders. Bunch of other guys were just flat out racing and I saw at least a dozen bikes doing probably over 100 in 55mph construction zones.


This was all in span of about 25 minutes too. Was there something going on this weekend or do people normally ride up there like that? I didn't see another sportbike from then on. I thought Florida had it locked down for squids but the maryland people are definitely up there too"

 

i'm just saying, that shit on public highways is stupid, You know it as well as i do.

 

nice, i love how you refuse to believe something you know nothing about, i refuse to believe theres a such thing as turbo, wtf is this non-sense about a little thing spinning and being able to make vehicle go much faster? lies! and that whole helio-centric solar system thing, lies also, we can all look up and see that the sun obviously revolves around us, earth is the center of the solar system and universe! just because i refuse to believe it

what about people who drift, they break traction often with 2 of their wheels and still control the vehicle, half their contact is gone, the back tires on my 300zx are crap and i'm no drifter, but going around the off-ramp of the highway the other day during all the rain my back tires lost traction and i felt my car was going to spin, i counter steered and it whipped itself right back into position and i kept going on my way home
