side note. the carriers are faster (WAY faster) than 30kts and CG Ice Patrol pretty much rules out all possability of an ice collision.

titanic had plenty of space for the lifeboats, but they thought it would make a better movie if they didn't have enough

j/k they had the space seriously but they didn't want to overload the 1st class deck with lifeboats
