some people think that if you have a big magnet (like a speaker magnet) on the bottom of your bike, that it'll trip the light.

never seen any proof of that though.

there's 2 types of traffic lights, some sense weight at the intersection, some have a magnetic field kinda thing that senses ferrous metal above it at the light.

lol.... if a light cycles more than twice while i'm sitting there, with no cars around... i just run it.

i've gotten pulled over for it, but when i explained it to the officer, he let me go.

negative ghostrider--the sensors sense the magnetic field your alternator generates-cars have a bigger field-bikes have smaller fields--hence if the light doesnt turn green place your bike over the sensor and rev your motor a few times-learned that from a safety course yay

i have one of those magic "make the light green magnets" on my bike and it doesnt work,then again i havent checked to see if its still ther after the basketball mishap?im with steve,run that shit!kinda sucks when my girl is on the back though,she almost always pinches me or bats me in the back of the head?
