yeah i can take a look at it. i don't remember off the top of my head what main jet was in his carb. if the airbox was half full of water, it's probably got a bunch of water in the carb too. water is heavier than water, so it may not make much of a difference until you really get cranking on it, and it starts sucking the water up through the carb. bring it by, i'll get it fixed right for him. if you can get it to me in the next day or two, i can deffinately get it done by the weekend.

btw, how's you yamaha running? get that pipe yet?

yea we went out to slades sun to test it out. i had no problems with it at all ran damn near perfect. sprayed some lady with mud and almost got my ass beat by her husband. the pipe was just ordered again today cause they keep sending me the wrong one. i will let him know. he just ordered a new filter that comes with a jet kit tonight. so i dont know when it will be in. he got it through mods 3 and they do same day shipping but it might not be till thur or fri before it comes in. if you dont have time to big deal he will have to just deal with it for the weekend and hit you up during the week. lol.

good to hear. tell him if he gets the parts in before the weekend, and if he can get it to me somewhat early, i'll get it done that day, so he can have it back to go play for the weekend. hate to see him tear something up if it's got a bunch of water and mud all in it. just make sure you hose it off before you bring it over

dont worry i made him clean it and to stay away from all the mud and shit. if he doesn't get it by then he knows not to give it full throttle. i will probably clean the float bowl for him just to be safe. but yea most def, he knows the deal and does need that checked out asap. hopefully parts will be in soon.

yep, I sold the cb750 for a decent profit to a cop from PA. He really wanted the bike and didn't haggle so he got a lot of extra stuff with it. Nice to make a little $ selling something for once vs losing $. I'm going to take the xr250 out tomorrow and if I don't manage to break anything then I'll go ahead and put it on ebay tomorrow night and if it doesn't look like its going to sell then I'll go ahead and order the piston kit. I've been seeing the wiseco .020+ kits for about $90 shipped. Good deal vs ordering locally?

yeah man, $90 shipped is a good deal. wiseco kits usually come with piston, rings, wrist pin, and gaskets.

I'll order it just in case then. Here's the link to the kit. I already have top end gaskets that I bought a couple weeks ago

hope it cools off before I go riding tomorrow at Slades......need to find somewhere else to ride because soft sand sucks when you don't have much experience riding dirt. Thats why I go out during the week when there isn't many people around to laugh at me putting around
