you mean dealers? there's just far too many different kinds of bikes to carry that stuff in stock. most any dealer only carries maintenance items, apparel, and some aftermarket stuff (exhausts, power commanders, etc) if they carried parts like that for every bike out there, or even the most popular bikes out there, they'd have a multi million dollar warehouse full of parts. it's just not cost effective at all.

it still sucks waiting on parts though, i know, i have to do it all the time.

 

Yeah, I am new to this scene so I am quickly learning the in's and out's of it. Speaking of which Steve I got a question for you. If I wanted to paint new fairings myself, what is the best way to go around doing it. I already have a high quality air brush I use to paint my remote control car bodies with, and It will pump out enough Iam sure to do this job. But as far as paint, layers masking and all of that what is a good process? Know where I can pick up some good decals?

 

honestly, i have no idea. talk to gilligan, he runs dreamworks customs. that's one thing i don't have that much experience with. i can build a bike all day long, but i'm no painter, and i'd hate to steer you in the wrong direction.

btw... i have a brushless rc18t i'm selling, almost all alloy if you know anyone interested.
