I haven't seen too many turbo installations like that, mostly because it is a piping nightmare. I'd be interested in hearing what kind of numbers he is producing though.
There are LS2's on the gto forum putting down 450-500hp at the wheels on the sts kits on 5-9lbs on stock internals and 550-600+ with upgraded internals and 12lbs.. LS1's slightly lower..
I just don't like the placement and the exposure to the elements.. especially since mine is a DD..
what size converter? sounds like it's pretty tight...
i talked to him and if i remember right it was a 3000rpm stall.
not sure what his other mods were and what tires that time was on.
i think he said it was on 5 psi also
