My old Shelby at VIR
i saw that white shelby at jenro's a few weeks ago, nice ride. got alot of "trailer queen" comments, but i quickly pointed out that it didn't have any plates on it, lol.
Yeah, that car is far from street legal.
Tonite (Wednesday 8/2) is the Shelby Club meeting at Kimnach Ford. So if you want to see a few Shelbys come by. We usually park under the parts department awning. Anyone interested is welcome.

Not just "at" the track, but ON the race track, being driven by a very good driver near, if not at the limits. It was truly a great thing to see. In fact here are the 3 of them:

The one in the back is the $12M Daytona Coupe Cobra that won the GT class at LeMans in 1965. The #98 car was the one driven by Ken Miles, and used as the Shelby factory race development Cobra. The #21 car is the last of the original FIA roadsters. It was raced the most and has the most FIA wins of any Cobra.
I don't know the total value of that picture, but it would probably come close to buying the entire field of a typical NASCAR Nextel Cup race, for comparison.
