polishing stock rims

you should just paint them some obnoxious color, because you dont have enough free time (unless your on house arrest) to do it youself, but if you feel like trying I would start with a 200 or 180 grit and then up to a 1000 grit or soo... then get a polishing wheel for your bench grinder (assuming you have one) from home depot ( like 10 bucks ) and some polishing compound (like 5$). if you have no grinder you can use a dremel, I have seen it done... but it took weeks to do an intake manifold....
