that would be one bad-assed powerball... there was almost no finish left on the ones that were the worst off. they looked like they were made out of pot metal.

Then you don't have enough drill. And please don't tell me you're using a cordless with it are you? Peoples, you gots to have a big bad drill to run the powerball to it's potential. The draglites I got for my silver car were seriously roached up and I got them to bling like new ones. If they appear pitted you can use a 3M red or green pad to take out the corrosion and then polish form there. Use the Mother's paste, not the liquid and all will be nice & shiny....fo sho....

Or do the black, it's all good.....hopefully this means you'll put a real tire back on the car David?

same tires are going back on the welds till they are worn out

this is not a polish situation, this is a resurface situation

this section of this wheel has about 15 minutes of direct polishing with all guns blazing.. followed by SANDING with 2k grit and then polishing again.

Goo those wheels need some serious attention. No way is sanding with only 2k going to take that out in less than 3 months of sanding, lol. You need to start out with a more serious girt, and it would still take way more time that you're probably willing to spend. I can vouch for 69vette doing a great job for a good price as well.
