Ae86
yeah, the GT-S does. the SR5 does not unless a swap has been performed. good luck finding one. people who own them now know what they have, so many have jacked-up prices.
your telling me man ive ben looking for a gt-s they are pretty hard to find i really need to start working on this car... which reminds has anyone seen an all-trac celica for sale anywhere id like to buy one to drive while i rebuild evrything on my pos sr5
Hello All
The SR5 is a 4af which it's chassis code is a AE85 not AE86.
For the 4agze swap you will not only need the AE86 drivetran but you will also need to convert your fuel sysytem to EFI.
I'll also agree with Toyota Tech on the fact that anyone that know's what they have is going to ask way to much in most people minds.
Except too those that love them. That is..
www.club4ag.com is where I learned amost all of my info on my 4ag motor, and would consider that the first place anyone should go to learn about all the lovely 4ag's in the world.
Awsome chassis info for the AE85' and AE86'ers put there.
But they have info and people covering almost all the 4ag powered cars out there.
Check out the registery also.
All the Club4agers from the state/region get together everyonce in awhile to bullshit and race carts or stuff like that.
Happy hunting.
BTW I'm JAC91at club4ag.

Thanks Toyota Tech
Just one thing there MR.2
The only probblem to me is that it's not Toyota.
But, what the hell GM made my sheet metal so why not.. he he he
There's a vid on club4ag that has 2 AE86's going down the road in Japan.
1 w/ a 20v swap and one w/ the 3 rotor.
They both hit at the same time and BOY
That 3 rotor took off so quick it made the 20v look like it hit his brakes at full lock up.
It should still be there in the vid section.

i dunno if i'd agree with nicer. the AE86 has damned close if not perfectly 50-50 neutral balancing. i don't know that the old 240 or any of the 1st gen rxz's are neutral.
