Ok, I now know to not cross the water that weekend.

 

I love the airshows and have started to have a cookout every year to top off the weekend, I have a great view from my backyard. We get numerous direct flyovers.

Yesterday there was a F18 flying in a way I had never seen one fly before, or even thought possible. Looked like a F22 up there.

Damn, I can't wait, the Blue Angels should be up this afternoon for practice.

i was pretty bummed i had to go to work today, but to my delite, we pulled our jets in the hangar and the angels took over our line. but yeah, they've been tearing it up all day today, pretty cool!

 

I got to sit on my warehouse roof top (on central drive) and watch them for a solid 2 hrs. I'm just kinda pissed I didn't have my cam. becuase they flew RIGHT over our head.

on a side note: fuck them for closing down london bridge. My drive home sucked fat cock.

 

i thought the tomcats last flight was last year 2005? i didnt hear anything about them flying this year. it is the 50th aniv. of the blue angels though. or is it 40th?

 

They wernt supose to fly our squadron was supose to be the last F14 squadron to fly in a air show which was last year. I heard today 1 f14 from 31 is going to fly in the air show on saturday.

 

Yep a Tomcatter was up with a F18 Wednesday afternoon for a little practice.

I forget who it was but I got video of the twenty plus f14s in formation coming back from their last deployment, very cool.
