Use some VP116 its blue and dosent hurt your O2

If the motor runs fine on pump gas, and he puts 116 in there, its probably going to lose power because too much energy will be used up in trying to burn the 116, leaving less energy to be converted to torque.

With any engine, you want to use the lowest octane necessary
