I have family on that side of town, and on the day of the auction there will be cars parked in every conceivable place for about a mile on both sides of the road. Dunno if you would consider that a "lot" of people, but it's enough to keep me out. Or maybe it's cause I'm broke...............

 

Never like that when I go, maybe about 30-40 people.

 

I will go down there and check it out if its alot of people im not gonna stay cause when its a ton of people from my auction experiences people run the prices way up on stupid stuff...

 

Nah, about half of the furniture doesn't sell and the computer equip usually only gets one or two bidders. I'll be looking for RAID servers and rackmount battery backup units -- bid on those and I'll kick you in the uterus.

 

Just a heads up, most of the computers have been stripped of the hard drives and memory. If you're looking for a basic machine to get online with, it's great. Pop in a new hard drive and some memory, both cheap after rebates. $50 can get you 5 computers with monitor, modem, ethernet card, etc. Another $10 can get you about 3-5 inkjet printers.

 

I was more interested in the tools and the old tractors to fix up and sell stuff like that... lol.. I don't even know what that stuff is...

 

The auctions was pretty nice.... But some of the stuff went way higher than it should have....
