well depends what the letter says, is it from the virginia dmv? if it is then ya ur suspended, but if its from anywhere in NC, then your fine to drive in virginia, Jurisdiction is such a beautiful thing
What state is your license in? If it is in VA then yes you are correct it will only effect you if you are caught driving in NC. So if you have a VA license you are completly good just stay the hell out of NC.
