I'm pretty sure that the laws only encompass removing or switching VIN tags, I don't think your dash swapping counts at all. The VIN tag never left the car, so no problem as far as I know. Virginia probably has a law against that though, most likely you can't clean, dust, touch, or otherwise look at the VIN tag without getting arrested and charged with a felony. I had to go look at the vehicle code before I used spot remover on my carpet, I was afraid I was gonna get busted for doing something illegal.

That's great. So you're trying to illegally separate and sell a clean title and VIN for a car that's wrecked.

im going to ask the obvious what year and model and how much you want for the whole thing amd whats missing

 

just sell it to me WITH the title.
