what are you controling the 390cc injectors with? what heat range plug are you running? What are you using to moniter air fuels? Also take the MSD box out it is not needed and is prone to fail. How old is the cap and rotor? Are you sure your boos guage is accurate?
im using the SAFT II to controll the injectors, my buddy Dave (aka Turbo Dave) set the safc for me. im using an autometer air/fuel gauge, and autometer boost gauge, i bought them both about 2 months ago brand new. the cap and rotor are about 3 months old. not sure what heat range the plugs are. where can i get a good set of plugs from.

Alrighty,
Here is what I would recommend..
Please put a lower spring in there for now or don't go around boosting it,
Sell your SAFC II on ebay, as well as your FMU, and buy a socketing kit, diy or get someone to socket it for you, download CROME and buy a chip burner for $45 on ebay. Thats like $65 so far.. you will MAKE money off of selling that stuff, and have 1000x's better fuel management... Then get a wideband, and tune it..
That is what I would do, but almost 9 psi on an FMU is not my idea of fun, and I would get on solid ground first before trying to figure anything else out.
yea, I understand...I delt with this same issue, full pedal is full boost..the checkvalves cannot handle it, the minute I converted to the missing link, the problem was gone.
