I'd love to see a RWD Ford wagon, as long as it doesn't have a pony on the grill. The Mustang has survived FWD scare, I'm sure it will make it through this.

The gist of the story seems to be that Ford just wants to use the Mustang name to sell other types of cars.

 

As many of time they have tried to 4dr a 2dr car and its never happened i doulbt there will be any chance that this will happen either. Most 4dr vehicle are ugly IMO.....unless they suicide(sp) the back doors.

 

Like the RX8? That was pretty ugly too.

And all this IRS talk, they're gonna price the Mustang way too high and wind up killing it.

youre right about it being hideous.. but i was referring to the 4door... it does have a nice look.... but it ruins the tradition... either way... this is proof that ford is in bad shape... all american companies are... they are trying just about anything they can just to try to generate interest. sorry stang lovers... i dont think that there is much ford can do to compete with imports economically. while they are shutting down more and more plants by the year.. honda, and toyota are raising them up... bad news 4 u
