So basicaly the only motorized transportation i can use is a bike 49cc or less?

actually, you're pretty much screwed. by va law, in order to operate a moped legally, you have to be "elligible for a license", meaning that if your license is suspended, you are no longer eligible for a license, so you can't even legally ride a moped.

trust me, i learned that one the hard way, i got busted riding my 50 on the street with a suspended license, and the lovely officer informed me exactly how that law worked.

having the court "delay" your abilty to get a license is the same as a suspension.

that's not to say that people don't ride mopeds/scooters all the time illgally, cuz most people don't even know the laws. it's kinda hard to get stopped on a moped, so 9 times out of 10, no one would ever know anyway. just don't go riding wheelies on a moped, and you'd probably be fine.

i'll keep my opinions of it to myself, but good luck trying to sell that thing.

Virginia is goofy as hell anyway, they have laws to enforce their laws. Back when I was 16, I got a "B" license which meant I could drive anything but a tractor and trailer. But then again, that was before CDLs.

Ok...if you are carrying around enough to get the intent charge added on, you should probably stay away from 2 wheels anyway. That $1500 for the bike will buy you a lot of shoes...you will need them.
