tint and inspection
I know, apparently it was ok at the time the windows were done but no longer. I had it tinted 7 yrs ago. Other than those 2 shops I have had no problem.
If the inspector does his job right he will check the drivers widow and the passenger window.
12. – INSPECT WINDSHIELD AND OTHER GLASS FOR:
* Cloudiness, distortion or other obstruction to vision.
I have seen tint cause these cars to fail and had to tell my customers why. As long as the tint isnt bubbling cracking or folded and causes the above, it's ok.

I guess thats one thing Va doesnt check, because in carolina window tint is part of inspection, with meter and no tolerance front and rear have to be 35%, no darker.
well.. i've got tint on my tail lights.. and it came like that when I bought it.. so is that going to fail inspection? I mean I have a guy that does it for me now.. but.. j/w in case sometime he can't get to it.
