Carburaters
I have both jets I believe. If I remember correctly, It has 2 openings. So I believe it has both jets. I don't have a problem with Installing it, I just want to get a good tune on it, because Weber's run like shit if you don't get a GOOD tune on it.
right, i tune Webers. the problem is, you may not have the proper set of jets for a 'proper' tune. may be too rich with the jets you have. if they are factory Weber jets, more than likely on your CRX, they will be too big. i don't have a comprehensive set of jets anymore, i just have what i need for the racecar.

"hot reading"??? sorry, I am new to carbs. I can install it, just don't want to get a crappy tune on it. Are jet's easy to install? I am thinking about buying 2.5 Max fuel filters to, since the carb will be off. The current fuel filter is probably horrible since its also original. It will also be easy to get at now! (well easier). I heard that Websters run best with 2.5 pounds max Fuel filters, is that true?
high velocity, low pressure.
hot 'read' your plugs after a hard run. it will tell you the same thing a wideband 02 sensor (in carbuer-traitor terms) will tell you as long as you know how to 'read' a plug. depending also on exhaust, some tuning can be optimized there. there are no specific formulae to tuning the carbs. if you bought the carb from Weber and specified your application, the dealer may have put close to what you might need, but then again, they may not have.
the jets will take removal of the top portion of the carb. be VERY careful with the fuel float as a slight bump could cause fuel starvation! the needle valve is also pretty damned sensitive to jarring.

Ok, thanks for your help. I am going to put it on, and if the jets are wrong. I will replace the jets. I am about to order 2.5 pound Fuel filter too, maybe a 3.0 pound one, still researching to which one would be better.
